Alicia Plummer's introduction to Bar Harbor:

Large, jagged rocks jut out into the turmultuous, steel grey ocean. A steady & white fog masks everything into a fainter, dreamlike version of itself. Tall, angular pine trees rise out of mountains of cloud across the harbor, & the rocking boats achored within the bay can barely be heard swaying with the waves as scarcely as they can be seen.

Bar Harbor is a short sleeve summer weight linen tee that knits up quickly in Aran weight linen. Alicia created the side stripes utilizing clever construction to avoid intarsia. This tee is worked top down, starting out working flat before joining in the round. After the sleeves are separated and fit is verified, the body is worked in four sections allowing for easy stripes. These pieces are then seamed together using mattress stitch before finishing the hemline in the round.

This pattern is written for finished bust sizes ranging from 32-60 inches / 81-152 cm. Full details and purchase options on Bar Harbor's Ravelry pattern page. Visit Alicia Plummer's Ravelry designer page to view all of her available patterns.
