Alicia Plummer created this rectangular shawl to reflect mature forests:
Filtered beams of sunlight stream through the branches of aged oaks, sugar maples, and yellow birches. The woods are aglow with color – even the forest floor is blanketed in the faded, worn orange of pine needles dropped during the last cold spell.
Woodlands was designed with Little Fox Yarn’s Vulpine DK, a merino/cashmere/nylon blend that offers beautiful drape and sheen.
