Worsted weight Ease is one of Alicia’s most popular patterns: classic raglan with a slightly oversized fit, flattering waist shaping, and that delicious cowl neckline. This version, Light Ease, has all the same features with the added benefit of sport weight yarn which is perfect for cool crisp mornings or chilly evenings by the bonfire. Alicia’s pattern inspiration points ahead to autumn:
The setting sun streams golden rays over the ridge. Shadows grow tall in the late autumn evening, and most of the leaves have since dropped from the trees. Exposed lichen clings to granite rocks in the field of pale uncut hay. November warmth radiates, even this late in the day, and geese fly in wavering V’s to head south.
